These are represented in books (Umberto Eco’s The Name of the Rose), films (The Public, directed by Robin Bissell) series (The Librarians, directed by Jonathan Frakes) and even paintings (VIEIRA DA SILVA, Maria Helena. A Biblioteca, 1949).
