Writing from Your ♥ with Jane Mobille:

Throwback to the 70s

For ages 12–18

This event has been postponed to Friday 3 June. Please click here to register for the 3 June event.

A picture may be worth 1000 words–but pre-Instagram teens had to write it in a letter! How did traveling teens stay in touch in the world that existed before smart phones, video chat, TikTok, and Instagram? We’ll read and laugh over a pile of original letters written by teens in the 1970s. Then you’ll pick up your own pen and write a letter to a friend.

About Jane Mobille: Memoir writer Jane Mobille is also a Professional Certified Coach with extensive experience coaching teens and young adults. Jane uses the tools of writing and coaching to inspire freedom and confidence in young writers as they learn to put their authenticity or “heart” on paper. Editor of the quarterly AAWE News magazine in Paris, Jane also authors a “Teen Coach” column at the online magazine INSPIRELLE. She holds degrees from Duke, University of Maryland, and Thunderbird.
