If you just made a donation:

You will receive a tax receipt, separate from the Paybox “ticket paiement” receipt, at the address you provided. If you have any questions about your donation, please contact our Advancement Manager, Morgan Wurzburger.

If you just joined the Library, or if you just renewed your membership:

Please allow us up to three (3) business days to process your membership or your renewal. You will receive a longer confirmation email, separate from the Paybox “ticket paiement” receipt, once your account has been (re)activated. This email will include instructions about:

  • Picking up your Library card (renewing members continue to use their existing cards)
  • Your account number (unchanged for renewals)
  • Membership benefits
  • Logging into your account and accessing our digital resources

If you just purchased a centennial tote bag:

You can pick up your new tote bag during your next visit to the Library.

The American Library in Paris, a private, independent non-profit organization since 1920, receives no French or American government subsidies and is largely financed by member fees, donations, and grants.
