The Me I Choose to Be, with Natasha Tarpley (ages 3–adult)

Join us for a special afternoon event with author Natasha Tarpley!

Meet children’s author Natasha Tarpley, and listen as she reads from two of her picture books. Ms. Tarpley will answer audience questions after the reading, and then lead participants in a short activity around the award-winning book The Me I Choose To Be.
Ms. Tarpley will be signing books, and books will be available for purchase at this event courtesy of The Abbey Bookshop.
About Natasha Tarpley: Natasha Tarpley is the author of the best-selling picture book, I Love My Hair!, as well as other acclaimed titles for children and adults. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship among other awards. When she is not writing books, Ms. Tarpley can usually be found reading them. She has also taken up the cruel and unusual hobby of running marathons. Ms.Tarpley is the co-founder of Voonderbar! Media, a multicultural children’s book media company.
