All ages!
On Saturday 23 November we’re going to hold a Thank-O-Rama with stories, games, crafts, and trivia inspired by Thanksgiving, the American holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November.
Thanksgiving is coming! What are you thankful for? Join us for some fun and gratitude just in time for Thanksgiving! The fourth Thursday of November marks the most “American” of holidays and a chance to remind ourselves of all the great things we have to be thankful for.
While Thanksgiving is traditionally celebrated in the US by sharing a meal with family, this event is an opportunity to share in some favorite holiday treats, meet new friends and experience a few traditional Thanksgiving games. There’s no need to be American to join in the fun! Learn about the traditions of Thanksgiving and how it is celebrated during our special Thank-O-Rama featuring games, crafts, stories and treats for children, tweens and teens. We’ll have a light tasting of Thanksgiving treats at this event.
No sign-up necessary!
This program does not require advance registration. However, each child attending Library programs must have their own Library card, or be covered by a family membership. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for library members and 10€ for non-members. We thank you in advance for understanding that active membership cards and possibly other identification will be required for entry. To make sure the Library remains a happy, enjoyable place for all, caregivers are expected to familiarize themselves with our Policy for Children in the Library.
