Ages 6-10
Put on your wizard robes and join us for an afternoon dedicated to the magic of Harry Potter – trivia, crafts and games. This event will be hosted by Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste, and Children’s and Teens’ Services Librarian Kirsty, who will lead you in magical crafts, host a trivia session with questions about the book series and lead you in a wizard game.
If you’re looking for ways to focus your love of the series into something positive, check out the Harry Potter Alliance. The non-profit group works to harness the power of story and popular culture to make activism accessible and sustainable. The group is committed to working in support of LGBTQA+ Equality, Gender Equity, Youth Advocacy, Racial Justice, Education and Libraries, Media Reform, and Climate Change.
This program requires advance registration, and is open to Library members. Click HERE to register. Registered participants will b sent a link to join the event via Zoom. Parents and caregivers are responsible for connecting to the meeting, and monitoring their children’s use of the internet.
