How The World Views Trump’s America with Nataliya Gumenyuk and Madeleine Schwartz

Tue September 29 @ 19 h 30 - 20 h 30

Hybrid Event

Award-winning Ukrainian journalist Nataliya Gumenyuk and Dial editor Madeleine Schwartz examine how the United States is viewed from abroad.

How do those outside the United States understand America’s politics, global influence, and changing place in the world?

Join award-winning Ukrainian journalist Nataliya Gumenyuk– the only Ukrainian reporter to have covered every U.S. presidential election since 2008– for a conversation on America’s image abroad, the war in Ukraine, and how American foreign policy shapes conflicts far beyond its borders. Together with Madeleine Schwartz, editor-in-chief of The Dial and co-editor of How We See It: The World Looks at America in the Age of Trump, they will explore how journalists around the world are reporting on an era defined by shifting alliances, drone warfare, and competing visions of America’s global role.
