Cody Delistraty lost his mother to cancer when he was in his early 20s. As he explored ways to mediate his grief, the American Psychological Association and World Health Organization announced a diagnosis: Prolonged Grief Disorder. While this diagnosis allowed for novel treatment, Delistraty was left with a question: Should we treat grief medically?
