Edwina tries to find ways to provide for her growing family after she lays 10 emu eggs in the nest she shares with Edward at the zoo. She has several courageous interactions with humans as she looks for work outside the nest, only to realize that the place she really wants to be is with her new family.
The vivid illustrations, fantastic expressions and dry rhyming in Edwina the Emu make it an amusing read for both adults and children.
