Meet other readers in the community as you explore the themes, styles, and stories contained in banned books. Bring in a book that has banned somewhere in the world and share it with the group. Don’t know where to start? Take a look at this list from the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom. Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste Rhoads will facilitate this book group.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
Important information:
This event is free for Library members, and 15€ per teen for non-members. Advance registration is required.
