Library staff on “To Kill a Mockingbird”
23 February 2016Library Culture Picks: March 2016
8 March 2016New books have arrived!
The arrival of new books at the Library is always highly anticipated. Our recent additions in both fiction and non-fiction center on the expatriate experience: The Expatriates by Janice Y.K. Lee about American expatriates in Hong Kong; In Other Words by Jhumpa Lahiri, her first work of non-fiction written and translated from Italian; and The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson where he revisits his adopted Britain.
We’ve also received new memoirs by folk signer Carly Simon and doctor-turned-patient Paul Kalanithi.
On our shelves are also over 100 new travel guides to nearly that many different destinations. Current guidebooks from Rick Steves, Eyewitness, Lonely Planet, Bradt, Michelin, and more are now on the shelves, and ready to accompany you on your next adventure.
