In Conversation: Rowan Williams and Greg Garrett is a book-length series of conversations between longtime friends about family, faith and spiritual practice, politics, literature and culture, and writing. In this evening at the American Library, Baron Williams and Professor Garrett will offer a public conversation on issues of the day, authentic dialogue, friendship, family, literature, and life.
Rowan Williams served as the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury and is a towering intellectual and moral figure in Britain. The author of over two dozen books on faith, politics, literature, language, and ethics, Lord Williams is currently Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge. Greg Garrett is Professor of English at Baylor University and Theologian in Residence at the American Cathedral in Paris. He too has published over two dozen books, including works of fiction, memoir, and nonfiction exploring narrative, racism, politics, faith, and popular culture.
A book sale and signing will follow this event.

Ex Libris Lux Society (10 000€ and above) sponsors will be invited to an annual dinner with Ex Libris Lux donors and Library leadership, as well as all the benefits listed above. They will also be invited to an exclusive cocktail dînatoire with our Gala speaker.
