The word “manifesto” brings to mind scandalous political documents of the 19th and 20th centuries, but our “Modern Manifestos” book display at the Library takes a look at more recent incarnations and innovations of the form. This wide range of books shows how contemporary writers with cultural, environmental, and literary ideas are using strong words to try to change the world.
