Editing and Revising Your Short Story (ages 6-12) [VIRTUAL—RSVP REQUIRED]
February 26 @ 11 h 00 min - 12 h 00 min
For ages 6-12
Children ages 6-12 are invited to join us for an interactive writing workshop direct to your living room, kitchen, bedroom, or wherever you connect. Caregivers are requested to join in with their children and participate in the program.
Join us for a workshop dedicated to editing and revising your writing. In time for the Library’s Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF), we’ll look at skills to improve your writing and make your story the best it can possibly be! A first draft of a story is required to participate in this workshop. Children must have a one-page story (or beginning) prepared before the workshop begins. Writers of any skill can attend and it doesn’t matter if you intend to submit to YAFF or not.
This event requires advance registration. Click HERE to register.
We thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Library community! If you would like to support the Library, you can donate here to help sustain this vital institution in its 100th year of service.
