In the evening on Saturday 31 October, the American Library in Paris will take stories to the streets and create an evening of scares for small groups. Haunted Paris Halloween Tours will be available every 15 minutes from 18h00-20h00. Led by a guide who will tell stories of haunted buildings and characters who come to life, the cast of the show will perform brief vignettes at various spots in the neighborhood.

Help us create an evening of scares for visitors who attend the event on Saturday 31 October by joining the cast and playing a role! Amateur and professional actors as well as fans of scary stories are all welcome to take part! For this character creation event, participants will use the outline of our script, to brainstorm costumes, scary lines. Parts will be assigned by Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste Rhoads, Actor and Master Shot Film Club coach Clarence Tokley, and author Amy Plum.

If you audition to be part of the cast, and are assigned a role, you will be expected to put together a costume, to participate in a rehearsal on Friday 23 October from 18h30-20h00, and to participate in the show on Saturday 31 October. Glory and scares will be yours to cherish!
