Join Children’s and Teens’ Services Librarian and YAFF Coordinator Kirsty for a writing workshop dedicated to brilliant beginnings.
We will read some great opening lines of stories together, then focus on creating the beginning and an outline of your own original story. We’ll discuss story structures and different ways of beginning stories.
Kirsty will also talk through the requirements of entry into the Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF) for those who wish to enter their short story. Find out more about the Library’s Young Authors Fiction Festival on the YAFF page.
