About Barbara Diggs: Barbara Diggs writes history books for middle-school children and teens. Her titles include Boycotts, Strikes, and Marches, and Race Relations: The Struggle for Equality in America, among others. She is currently at work on a middle-grade historical fiction novel. A graduate of Stanford Law School, Barbara practiced law in New York and Paris for several years before becoming a professional writer. You can find out more about Barbara on her website.
