1 July 2019Dear magazine readers,
The summer is here – time when we go on vacation to rest, sleep, enjoy and/or do only the things we really want to do. Let the Library inspire your summer days with our selection of cool magazines.
We are happy to announce that the Library is now subscribed to an English magazine The Idler. The Idler is a bimonthly magazine with the intention of returning dignity to the art of loafing, to make idling into something to aspire towards rather than reject. Perfect read for lazy summer days. The magazine was created and edited by Tom Hodginson, author of books How to be Idle, How to be Free, The Idle Parent. All of these books are available to borrow.
If you don’t know where to go during your vacation, allow us to propose you to read our magazines National Geographic Traveler and Condé Nast Traveler which are full of mindblowing destinations waiting for you to discover.
If you want to spend your summer days doing creative work, we suggest you to read our magazines Martha Stewart Living and Real Simple. These are the magazines full of arts & crafts ideas perfect for relaxation and self discovery.
For our music lovers, Mojo magazine is the best title to discover new bands, songs and stories behind them. Each issue is accompanied with CD which will fill you summer days with energy and fun.
Gourmands also have a wonderful choice of food magazines – Bon Appétit and Cook’s Illustrated will inspire you to cook and take your taste buds to the cuisines all over the world.
The Library team wishes you happy reading and wonderful summer!
