This family event for Library members is part of the Library’s annual Halloween Extravaganza. The party features games and surprises, scary story readings, a performance from Jessica Moore and Thibault Hidalgo, and more. The event will culminate in a costume showcase for children, teens, and their families with costume prizes awarded in several categories:
- Surprising
- Literary
- Gorey
- Creative
- Handmade
- Magical
- Classic Halloween
- Teen ages 12–18
- Adult age 18+
- Duo/Group Costume
The costume judges are always especially impressed by homemade costumes, and creative ensembles.
This event also includes an optional poetry performance competition. Individuals who are interested in reading one of a selection of poems should purchase tickets and then send an email to kidsandteens@americanlibraryinparis.org to let us know that you would like to take part in the poetry performance.
Light refreshments will be provided by the Library.
