3–10 year-olds and their grown-ups are invited to join us for a special event with author Oliver Gee and illustrator Lina Nordin Gee as they read their new picture book Grace the Giraffe in Paris. Following the reading, Lina will show participants how to draw a giraffe and then the pair will answer questions about what inspired this fantastical tale, and they’ll share the fun facts they discovered as they created the story.

This live, interactive event will be hosted in the Children’s Library—Early. Library programs are created to encourage children to actively engage with stories. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
