Teen Night: Flash Fiction with Jane Mobille (ages 12–18)

Fri April 4 @ 19 h 00 - 21 h 00

Join us as we experiment with flash fiction in a creative setting where you can get to know other members of the community!

Flash fiction is a complete story, written in as little as six and no more than 1000 words. It contains the four elements of short story—protagonist, conflict, complication and resolution—but sometimes they remain unwritten and are just implied. Using Sandra Cisneros’ The House on Mango Street for inspiration, join us as we experiment with flash fiction in a creative setting where you can get to know other members of the community. Light refreshments will be provided!

About Jane Mobille: Memoir writer Jane Mobille is also a Professional Certified Coach with extensive experience coaching teens and young adults. Jane uses the tools of writing and coaching to inspire freedom and confidence in young writers as they learn to put their authenticity or “heart” on paper. Editor of the quarterly AAWE News magazine in Paris, Jane has contributed a number of “Teen Coach” articles to online magazine INSPIRELLE.
