Oct 7th has marked a paradigm shift in the long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine. After the start of these unprecedented events, journalists have been on the ground reporting, attempting to capture the realities, complexities, and human toll of this ongoing crisis. What has been the role of news organizations, social media, and the spread of information during the conflict? And what lies ahead for the Middle East?
Four long-time watchers of the region discuss how we reached this point of crisis, and how peace can ever be achieved.
This event is presented in partnership with the Overseas Press Club.
