3-5 year-olds and their parents are invited to join us for a Story Hour featuring songs, stories and rhymes in English.
Our weekly Wednesday Story Hours are for children ages 3-5 and their grown-ups. The program, hosted by Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste, Children’s and Teens’ Services Librarian Kirsty, and Volunteer Mary Wessels, lasts one hour and features songs, stories and hand-rhymes in English. Caregivers are expected to sing along to model for little ones. Each child must be accompanied by an adult chaperone, and chaperones are expected to remain with their children for the duration of the program.
With your help, we can develop and nurture your child’s love of books and the library.
This Story Hour event will be held outside on the Champs de Mars (weather permitting) for a small group. If rain is likely, the event will be moved to the Library’s lower level reading room, for a small group. Space is very limited for this event. This event is free for Library members. Click HERE to register. Registered participants will be sent information about where to meet a day before the event. Registration closes 24 hours before the event. If regulations regarding group meetings change, we will accept participants in order of their registration (first come, first serve).
