From her storied salon on rue de Fleurus to the streets that sparked a revolution in art and letters, trace the world of Gertrude Stein with acclaimed biographer Francesca Wade, author of Gertrude Stein: An Afterlife. Along the way, Wade brings Stein’s Paris vividly to life—her radical experiments in language, her legendary salon, and the artists and writers who gathered in her orbit. We’ll conclude at a private residence for coffee and tea, where guests will have the opportunity to view a rare treasure from the Library’s archives.
