“For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” — Ernest Hemingway
Flash fiction is a complete story, written in as little as six and no more than 1000 words. It contains the four elements of short story—protagonist, conflict, complication and resolution—but sometimes they remain unwritten and are just implied. Using Sandra Cisneros’ The House on Mango Street for inspiration, join us as we experiment with flash fiction in a creative setting where you can get to know other members of the community. Light refreshments will be provided!
