Stop by for an afternoon of storytelling with children’s author Alex English!

During this special event, Alex English will read two of her popular children’s stories with us, then talk about her writing process. Participants can stick around after the reading for a simple craft project.

About Alex English: Alex English is a British children’s author currently based near Paris. She grew up near Winchester in the UK and worked as an actuary and journalist before turning to her first love, children’s books. Her first three picture books, Yuck said the Yak, Pirates Don’t Drive Diggers and Mine Mine Mine said the Porcupine were all published in the UK by Maverick. Her new series for older children, Sky Pirates, sets sail with Simon & Schuster this year.

This program does not require advance registration, however, each child attending must have their own Library card, or be covered by a family membership otherwise the non-member fee applies. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for library members and 10€ for non-members. Caregivers are expected to familiarize themselves with these guidelines so that we can provide a pleasant library environment for all patrons. Active membership cards and possibly other identification will be required for entry.
