Join us for an hour dedicated to all things children’s literature– brief readings, trivia, crafts and games!

Learn about classic and contemporary children’s books during our interactive virtual event for children and their grown-ups! Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste Rhoads will read excerpts from classic children’s novels and picture books, and then lead you in a few games inspired by heroes and heroines of children’s literature. We’ll wrap up the event with a simple craft project. All abilities and skill sets are welcome. No prior knowledge of classic children’s literature is needed to have fun during this program, but avid readers will especially enjoy this afternoon event. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite children’s book character.

This program requires advance registration, and is open to Library members. Click HERE to register. Registered participants will b sent a link to join the event via Zoom. Parents and caregivers are responsible for connecting to the meeting, and monitoring their children’s use of the internet.
