The American Library in Paris and Toastmasters Paris are pleased to collaborate on the Youth Leadership Program (YLP) for the 2021-2022 season.

This public speaking club is for teens ages 14-18. The YLP is led by the teen participants themselves with the guidance and support of Toastmasters from several groups in the Paris area and the American Library in Paris’ Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager. Toastmasters participate at each meeting to coach and help evaluate.

Participants between the ages of 14-18 were selected for this program based on applications sent in June.  Applications were screened by YLP Coordinator Alexander Bradburn, past YLP coordinators Juan-Pablo Chaclan (Toastmaster) and Ginny Slocum (Toastmaster), and Children’s and Teen’s Services Manager at the Library, Celeste Rhoads.
