All of us at the Library are delighted to report that the renovations are complete (or very nearly!) and our doors are once again open to our members.
Thank you for your patience during the months of renovation and for the enthusiasm you have shown for our plans. Now you can see for yourselves what all the effort has been about, and we hope you like what you see as much as we do.
While the finishing touches are put on the construction in the coming days, certain zones in the Library and in the collections will be temporarily off limits. Our staff is here to help you find what you need. Members can have their new membership cards created and printed; they will be essential for electronic access to the Library once that system is in place.
The September issue of Ex Libris, our quarterly newsletter, will be full of details about the renovation and new systems and procedures that will be in place shortly for Library usage.
In the meantime, please plan to attend our official unveiling: an Open House on the afternoon and evening of Sunday 25 September. This is a free event and open to the public. All of us on the staff look forward to greeting you there and showing you the new Library.
