Halloween Extravaganza Thanks

The Library’s annual Halloween Extravaganza, which was held on Saturday 26 October, was a packed celebration, with over 500 Library members and guests attending four separate events for different ages. We cannot thank our volunteers enough for making the event such a success. A team of over 30 volunteers helped out to make the event possible, with individuals creating awards by hand, putting up themed displays, helping children make crafts during the event, serving refreshments, and playing roles in the Haunted Library. This annual celebration is an example of what is possible at an independent non-profit institution with a dedicated and talented team of volunteers and staff. We would also like to thank the local businesses who opened their doors to trick-or-treaters: 123 Ciseaux, Le Café de Mars, Le Cairn Coffee Shop, Chez Pippo, Chikara, Design & Nous, Gary le Barbier, L’Howea Fleurs, Les Lapins d’Alice, Magda Traiteur, Le Petit Souk, Salon Séguier, Yuj Yoga Studio, and Zia. Every year, we’re impressed by the costumes children, teens, and adults wear to the Halloween Extravaganza, which vary from classic to totally unique.
