Caregivers are invited to sing along with songs and rhymes for very young children\, and enjoy a reading of short picture books. Children and Teens Services staff members and Library volunteers will be on hand to teach you the rules of the games available. Board games will be provided\, and participants may bring along their own from home too! \nThis activity is entirely in English\, and no translation will be provided. All participants must be able to understand and speak English in order to participate in the program. \n\nChildren between the ages 6–12 may participate in Library programs on their own\, while their chaperone remains inside the Library\, children under the age of 6 must have a chaperone with them at all times. Each Story Hour program features short picture books such as Brave Irene by William Steig\, as well as songs and rhymes. \nThis Story Hour will be hosted by Children and Teens Services Manager Celeste Rhoads and Children and Teens Services Intern Amber Auer. They will read books and lead you and your little one in songs and hand-rhymes during a live\, interactive session.
