SUMMARY:Indoor Dance Party (all ages) (RSVP REQUIRED)
DESCRIPTION:For all ages!\n \n  \nChildren and their grown-ups\, teens\, and adults are invited to join us for an indoor dance party direct to your living room\, kitchen\, bedroom\, or wherever you connect. Caregivers are requested to join in with their little ones and participate in the program. \nAs the situation with Covid-19 evolves\, here at the Library we continue to monitor the news carefully. We’re moving as many programs for children and teens as possible to a virtual format for the time being.  We will run this program by connecting online via Zoom.\n\n \nWhile we usually don’t recommend screen use for young children\, as per guidance from specialists (see articles here\, here and here)\, video conferencing can be appropriate when mediated by an adult. We will lead you in songs like “Go Bananas\,” “Twist and Shout\,” and more during this dance-along virtual session. Plan to join in\, sing along\, and move around\, as you would do in one of our in-person events. Adults are welcome.\n\n\n\nChildren’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste\, Children’s and Teens’ Services Librarian Kirsty and guest singer/guitarist Emily Bonn will be ready for you by 10h15. Find out more about Emily here. The session will begin at 10h30. \n\nThis virtual Indoor Dance Party is free and open to the public\, however advance registration is required. Click HERE to register.\n \n  \n
