We will celebrate the YAFF 2024 participants and finalists during the Celebration Event at the American Library in Paris on Friday 14 June 2024. On this page, you can register to attend the first event, where we will announce the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th places for each grade, from Kindergarten/Grande Section–5th Grade/CM2.

The 1st–5th place stories will be published in a Celebration Booklet, which will be available for purchase at the event. The Booklets cost 20 euros each. (We publish two booklets each year: one for Kindergarten/Grande Section–5th Grade/CM2 and one for 6th Grade/6ème–12th Grade/Terminale.)

Authors, their families, their teachers, and the volunteer judges are all invited to attend the event. Everyone can reserve for up to 3 people, including the author. Pre-registration is required.

Please note that the event will be photographed and filmed, and the photos and video may be posted on the Library’s website and used for promotional and educational purposes. Only finalists who consented to have their picture taken when submitting their stories will be photographed. However, all attendees may appear in images and video of large crowds.
