What is Kindness? (ages 6-10)

20 October 2018 @ 15 h 00 min - 16 h 30 min

Ages 6-10

Join Caroline Murgue of MOSHI (Philosophy and Arts for ages 3-18) for an afternoon dedicated to exploring the theme of kindness. For this workshop, we will explore the question “what is kindness?” After exploring the topic in depth, and a discussion with the group, participants will draw comics as a final artistic answer to this philosophical question.

MOSHI is a non-profit which was created to help children learn that they are inherent philosophizers who can harness this newfound power to grow their world views, enhance tolerance, and foster civic engagement. The goal is to teach critical and creative thinking to children and teens through philosophy and arts workshops, and to develop social and emotional learning, critical and creative thinking in order for children to better navigate our complex world.

For more information about MOSHI here.

This program does not require advance registration, however, each child attending must have their own Library card, or be covered by a family membership otherwise the non-member fee applies. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for library members and 10€ for non-members. Caregivers are expected to familiarize themselves with these guidelines so that we can provide a pleasant library environment for all patrons.
