The Library’s Annual Halloween Extravaganza! (Click for full schedule) (ticketed event)

The Library’s annual Halloween Extravaganza will be held on Saturday 27 October 2018, with events for all ages throughout the day.

Tickets must be purchased in advance for each individual event, for each person attending. Library members may purchase tickets at the Children’s & Teens’ Services Desk beginning Tuesday, 2 October. If tickets remain, they will be available for purchase by non-members beginning Friday, 12 October. Members may purchase an additional two tickets for non-member guests, but the non-member fee applies.

 

 

 

10h00-19h00 | all ages | Trick-or-Treating 

Trick-or-treating with neighborhood businesses.

Maps are free with the purchase of a ticket for any event, or may be purchased individually for 5€ on Saturday 27 October at the Library.

 

10h30-11h30 | ages 0-3 | Tricks and Treats for Tiny Tots! (SOLD OUT!/Complet!)

Children ages 0-3 and their families are invited for a Halloween party featuring Halloween stories read by our children’s librarians, songs, games, surprises and craft projects for little hands.

Tickets: 5€ per person for Library members, 15€ per person for non-members (every child and adult attending must have a ticket).

 

12h30-14h30 | ages 4-7 | Halloween Hullabaloo! (SOLD OUT!/Complet!)

Children ages 4-7 and their families are invited to join us for a party beginning with festive seasonal crafts followed by fun Halloween stories and songs. We’ll wrap up this event with a costume contest (for children ages 4-7 and special awards for older siblings and our favorite parent’s costume) and a parade through the Library!

Tickets: 5€ per person for Library members, 15€ per person for non-members (every child and adult attending must have a ticket).

 

16h00-18h00 | ages 7+ | Horrific Halloween with Eric the Magician!

Children ages 7+ and their families are invited to join us for a party beginning with festive seasonal crafts followed by spooky Halloween stories and a magic show. We’ll wrap up this event with a costume contest (for children ages 7+ and a special award for our favorite parent’s costume).

Tickets: 5€ per person for Library members, 15€ per person for non-members (every child and adult attending must have a ticket).

 

19h00-20h30 | ages 10 – Adult | Zombie Fashion Show

The American Library in Paris will turn into a hot spot for the undead in the evening. During this event, there will be a costume contest for audience members, a screening of original films by the Library’s Master Shot Film Club, and zombie trivia, then the audience will select the most rotten of the zombies after our zombie contestants crawl the catwalk. To enter as a zombie fashion show contestant, send an email with your name (first and last), zombie name, and contact phone number to our Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager, Celeste, by Friday 12 October: celeste@americanlibraryinparis.org. Zombie contestants enter free of charge, but there is limited space available. Sign up early!
