Teen Night: Two Hours to Star in a Musical (ages 12-18)
6 September 2019 @ 19 h 00 min - 21 h 00 min
For ages 12-18.
Join us for an evening of music at the Library with Georgia Gray and Lisa Bidnall.
Have you heard about the hit musicals Hamilton and Moana (Vaiana) by LMM? Love them, or wondering why everyone’s talking about them? Work on your acting and singing skills in this exciting workshop with acting teacher Lisa Bidnall and voice coach Georgia Gray. Through games, exercises and some very quick learning, you will put together a performance of one song from each musical, with singing and acting. At the end of the night, your parents can come see your performance!
Aspiring musicians and novices alike are all welcome to join, as well as hopeful songwriters, singers and fans of music. Snacks and drinks will be provided by the Library.
