Silly Songs with Matt Black (all ages)
January 19 @ 15 h 00 min - 16 h 00 min
Join popular performer Matt Black for a fun afternoon of music at the Library. Some of the songs we’ll sing are childhood classics, others are Matt’s own original creations, but they’re all sure to be hits with kids and parents alike!
About Matt Black:
Matt has been a professional educator for almost two decades, and has always loved making music fun for kids. Somewhere along the line he picked up a guitar out of curiosity and taught himself to play. His interactive performances incorporate humor, movement, silliness, singing, and even some (gulp) learning. He has entertained children of all ages at schools, birthday parties, special events, corporate affairs, festivals, summer camps and private gatherings. Matt has performed in Paris for the American Library in Paris, the USA Girl Scouts Overseas, the Lennen Bilingual School, the Australian Embassy in France and the American Church. Matt moved to Paris from Connecticut (USA) with his wife and daughter in 2005, but he still can’t pronounce the word “yaourt”.
Matt Black leads a performance based band program in Paris for kids and teens called Rock U. If you’d like more information about Rock U. or about Matt Black, visit www.rock-u.fr or www.musicwithmattblack.com.
