Co-sponsored event with Message Paris
Our world is becoming increasingly multilingual. More and more children are being raised as bilinguals. Nowadays, a child may learn one language at home and another at school. But sometimes bilingualism is a choice, and parents may wish to expose their child to another language, even if they do not speak a second language themselves.
What are the advantages and difficulties in learning a second language as an adult and a child? What are the common difficulties that children experience in acquiring both French and English simultaneously? Our three experts will try to answer those questions during a fascinating debate on Bilingualism and learning languages as children and adults.
