Money Matters (ages 6-10)

14 April 2018 @ 15 h 00 min - 16 h 00 min

ages 6-10

Learn about earning, saving, spending and giving during an afternoon program all about money matters. We’ll learn about some important concepts by reading stories about some classic characters, and a few new ones. We’ll wrap up the afternoon with a related art project.

New books for parents and kids on allowance, saving, spending and more money matters have been added to the collection thanks to donations from Steve Horton, Christy Clark & Cliff Shaw, The Davis family, Lauren Huneke, Kim and Jared Slosberg, and Linda Mak. Book lists and other and resources will be available during this program for parents who are interested in starting discussions with their children.

Thanks to Bridget Farrenkopf Habib for co-cordinating this program with the American Library in Paris!

This program does not require advance registration, however, each child attending must have their own Library card, or be covered by a family membership otherwise the non-member fee applies. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for library members and 10€ for non-members. Caregivers are expected to familiarize themselves with these guidelines so that we can provide a pleasant library environment for all patrons.
