[This event has been postponed and will be rescheduled for later this year.]
Experience the Library in a different light and help us launch our year of centennial celebrations in style. Meet new friends and enjoy music, a catered cocktail dînatoire, and handcrafted drinks, all in support of the Library in its 100th year. The event features:
- the unveiling of new and limited-edition Library souvenirs
- a raffle (one raffle entry is included with each event ticket)
- special exhibits
We will also welcome an illustrious quartet of authors — and friends of the Library:
Stephen Clarke (The French Revolution & What Went Wrong; A Year in the Merde)
Nicola Keegan (Swimming)
Jake Lamar (Bourgeois Blues; Postérité; The Last Integrationist)
Dana Thomas (Fashionopolis: The Price of Fast Fashion and the Future of Clothes; Gods and Kings: The Rise and Fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano; Deluxe: How Luxury Lost its Luster)
This adults-only party will last until midnight and all proceeds will benefit the Library’s programs, services, and collections. The full cost of your ticket is a tax-deductible donation and will be acknowledged with a tax receipt after the event.
