Evenings with an Author: American Library in Paris Spring Visiting Fellow Ian Leslie

March 26 @ 19 h 30 min - 21 h 00 min

Please join us for an evening with our Spring Visiting Fellow, Ian Leslie.

All of us are born curious, but only some retain the habits of learning, exploration and discovery as we grow older. In the age of the internet this is leading to a growing “curiosity divide.” Ian Leslie, author of Curious: The Desire to Know and Why Your Future Depends On It will discuss the reasons for that divide, and explain why curiosity doesn’t work quite the way we think it does.

Ian is a journalist who lives in London. He writes about the science of human behavior, drawing on a wide range of interdisciplinary expertise. He is also the author of another book, Born Liars: Why We Can’t Live Without Deceit.
