Completing Your Short Story

Have a great idea for a short story but need some advice on putting it into practice? No matter where you are in your story-writing, this event will help young writers plan their plots, design their characters, and edit their works! Join Children’s and Teens’ Services Intern Pallas-Amenah, staff and volunteers for our short story workshop! Participants should come to the event prepared with story ideas to workshop with their peers and  ready complete pieces to submit to the Young Authors Fiction Festival (YAFF) (submission deadline 1 April at 22h00).

Important information: Advance registration is required for this event. Participation in teen nights is free for Library members and 10 euros per person for non-members. A signed permission slip is required to attend this event. Visitors ages 6+, staff, and volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear masks on the premises. Questions about collections and programs for teens can be sent to the Library’s Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager, Celeste Rhoads: celeste@americanlibraryinparis.org.

We thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Library community!
