Calming Rituals and Nourishing Relationships: Keeping the Balance throughout the Holiday Season
A workshop for parents and caregivers.
Navigating the holidays with children is no easy task. What should be a connecting and relaxing time of year often brings additional stress and anxiety. This workshop will focus on setting positive holiday intentions, incorporating rhythm and predictability, and creating family traditions that connect us. We will look at the practice of gift giving (presence over presents) and ways to help children focus on gratitude over entitlement.
About Katie Vasicek: Katie is a Parent Coach, Education Consultant, and the Director of Vista Parenting in Marin, California. Her qualifications include a B.A. in Child Development, a M.A. in Education, as well as many years of experience working with children, parents, teachers, and administrators.
