Best Books Feedback Session (ages 11-18) (By RSVP)
January 25 @ 17 h 30 min - 18 h 30 min
We’re soliciting feedback on the the nominees for the Best Fiction for Young Adults.
The Best Fiction for Young Adults Committee presents fiction titles published for young adults in the past 16 months that are recommended reading for ages 12 to 18. The recommended reading list is used by librarians and teachers throughout the US to determine which books to purchase for their libraries. Children’s and Teens’ Services Manager Celeste Rhoads is currently serving on the BFYA committee and is curious to hear your thoughts on these books. Your comments will be shared with the rest of the members of the 15 person committee and they will also help us determine which books to include in our collections. You can see previous lists on the YALSA website.
You can see the full list of 2019 nominees here.
