100 Books You Should Read Before You Grow Up, Part 2 (ages 6-12)
March 30 @ 15 h 00 min - 16 h 30 min
For children ages 6-12 and their grown-ups
Learn about classic children’s books during our interactive afternoon event for children and their grown-ups!
During the first edition of this event, held in February, we talked about 50 books that you should read! Now, we’ll cover another 50.
We’ll read excerpts from classic children’s novels and picture books from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and then you can try and guess the character, author, place and plot in our classics quiz. We’ll wrap up the afternoon with a craft project inspired by the books we’ve talked about. No prior knowledge of classic children’s literature is needed to have fun during this program, but avid readers will especially enjoy this afternoon event. We’ll have a costume contest for those who dress up like their favorite book character: one for adults and one for children.
A list will be available after the event with all recommended titles!
No sign-up necessary!
