Join us for a special event with award-winning author and Library visiting fellow, Jacqueline Woodson!

Join us for a reading by award winning American author Jacqueline Woodson - a writer of many talents who has written books for children, teens and adults! Jacqueline will be reading from one of her books for children, then guests will be treated to a Q & A where you will have a chance to find out more about Jacqueline's writing, her books and her upcoming projects.


Jacqueline Woodson has received numerous award for her work, including the National Book Award, the Coretta Scott King Award and several Newbery honors. Some of her best-known works include Miracle's Boys and her Newbery Honor-winning titles Brown Girl Dreaming, After Tupac and D Foster, Feathers, and Show Way - all of which are available in the Library's collections.

This program does not require advance registration. However, each child attending programs must have their own Library card, or be covered by a family membership otherwise the day fee will apply. Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free for Library members and 10€ per child for non-member children. In an effort to provide a pleasant library environment for all visitors and to help make sure your child's visit to the library is a safe and happy one, please try your best to arrive on time for all programs and review our policy for Children in the Library before arriving.
