Join Library volunteer and poet Marcia Lèbre for a workshop dedicated to poetry and the tricks to bringing your poems to life: similes, metaphors, personification and more. You'll explore some classic poems and some contemporary works before doing some writing of your own.

About Marcia

Marcia Lèbre became a Library member two years after marrying Gérard and moving from the U.S. to France. She holds an MFA in Literature and Writing from Bennington College and directed the Paris Writers Workshop for 12 years, and now volunteers in the Children's and Teens' Library at the American Library in Paris. She has led workshops, introducing young people to reading and writing poetry in Angers and Paris over the years.
